Aaron Minkus

I love what I do because I get to form great relationships while helping people through what can be a complicated process of buying and selling a home. I have over 15 years of experience in completing real estate transactions all over Chicagoland.

I started in this business as a legal assistant and worked my way up to being an attorney. In 2008, I earned my JD from DePaul University College of Law when I became an associate at Lattas Law. In 2013, I became a Partner of Lattas, Felton and Minkus. In 2015, I opened the Law Office of Aaron Minkus. Throughout that time, my practice focused on home buyers and sellers, saavy real estate investors, and large condominium developers.

I pride myself on customer service and communication with clients. In a real estate transaction, difficult decisions often need to be made quickly.  Clients need an attorney who will swiftly and consistently pick up the phone to discuss the issues.   I make sure clients understand the ramifications of any decision they make throughout the transaction.

A great real estate attorney understands that their job continues after keys are exchanged. I am a resource for clients after closing for anything related to home ownership. I consistently research new legislation and legal trends relating to real estate.

I grew up in Buffalo Grove, Illinois and attended Stevenson High School. I earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan.  In my free time, I enjoy coaching baseball, playing pickleball, and playing guitar.  I live with my wife, Sara, and son, Jacob in Deerfield, Illinois.
